Synopsis

18 and 19 January 2025, Sat and Sun - 11am-7pm
25 and 26 January 2025, Sat and Sun - 11am-7pm

At the edge of the city, on the green corridor, set against the beautiful leafy backdrop of Portsdown Road are the historical black and white colonial houses and walk-up apartments where artists have been living and working for decades. Once a year these artists open their studios spaces for the public. A leisurely stroll around the estate will take you to nine studios where you will be able to talk to artists, find out what inspires them and discover more about their creative process. The Artwalk@Wessex is free and self guided. Maps can be found online and printed in the studios. So bring your friends, bring the family and we will welcome you to the up coming Singapore Art Week.

Participating artists/curators:

Alison Wilson, British
Frances Alleblas, Dutch
Joyce Loo, Singaporean
Max Kong, Singaporean
James Stewart, British
Saya Yamaguchi, Japanese
Tsujii Junko, Japanese
Naomi C. Hanakata, Japanese from Germany
Marina Fietta, Italian

Please note, not all studios will be open for the entire two weekends. Check our Facebook page or instagram to find exact dates each artist is open.
