Synopsis

'Brushes & Lines: Illustrators at Play' brings together a diverse group of talented artists from around the world, each influenced by their experiences as illustrators. The word "illustration" itself shares etymological roots with "illumination," suggesting not only enlightenment but also a deeper understanding—spiritual and intellectual. Illustration, traditionally seen as a visual interpretation of a text, concept, or process for print or digital media, carries with it a unique power: the ability to translate stories into art. This visual storytelling experience offers an immediacy and expressiveness that is both heartfelt and true to life, capturing the essence of each moment with vivid clarity.
