Synopsis

The Singapore Glass Art Collective (SGAC), a community of seven Singapore pioneering Glass Artists, is celebrating the versatility and beauty of glass through a wide range of artistic expressions in glass and mirrors. Standing at the intersection of culture and tradition, their works not only honour the rich heritage of glassmaking and their Singaporean roots but also reflect a forward-looking perspective that incorporates digital tools and sustainable practices such as upcycling. With a combined experience of nearly 200 years across local and international platforms, these seven artists are eager to connect with a broader audience during the Singapore Art Week 2025, hoping to inspire a new generation of creators in the world of glass art.
